Gibson's birthday chalkboard: GIVEAWAY!

Once upon a time:

I was falling in love.  Now I'm only falling apart.  There's nothing I can doooooo.  A total eclipse of the heeeeeart!

Anyway.  Once upon a time, I wanted to make a birthday chalkboard for Gibson's first birthday.  And there are so many tutorials online, and I decided that I could probably make it myself.  Except then I remembered that I can't do everything myself, even though I want to be super DIY mom.  It's just unrealistic.

So I went to Etsy to try and find a shop who made chalkboard art that I could print myself.

Enter MilestoneMemory!  Amy, the shop owner, does beautiful work at a fantastic price.  I ordered Gibson's chalkboard with all of his information, and I had a proof within the hour.  I wanted the green to be a little lighter, and Amy made that change for me...within two hours I had my final file to print!

Isn't it adorable?  I absolutely love it!  You can print files from MilestoneMemory in any size up to a 16x20.  We, of course, chose to print it as large as possible, so now we have a beautiful 16x20 poster to hang up at Gibson's party!

*Sidenote: his favorite song is legitimately "Let it Go."  He especially loves the African tribal version I posted about >here<, but he'll stop and listen to any version that comes on.  And he even listens to me sing it.  Cutie.  /end sidenote

Amy makes chalkboard art for the first day of school and any birthday, as well as nursery art.  It's all beautiful, and completely customizable!  You just let her know the information and color scheme you want in the "notes to seller" part of the checkout.

So now for the fun part!  Amy is going to give a free digital file to one lucky reader!  To enter, just use the Rafflecopter thinger below starting at midnight tonight.  You can do as many of the options as you would like for up to five entries into the giveaway.  Rafflecopter will choose a random winner at midnight on March 6, and I'll announce the winner later that day!

Make sure to share this giveaway with all of your friends!  ...even though I know that lessens the chance that you'll win.  Stop being so greedy!

  1. I also thought I could make a picture inspired by this chalkboard trend and guess what happened....I made my art degree having husband do it. All it took was watching me attempt to draw a straight line and he was like "hows about you let me give it a go" lol.

    1. Haha! It's definitely a fun trend, but I think it would have been way more trouble than it's worth for me to attempt doing it myself. I'm so happy with my decision to have someone else make it! :P

  3. So cool! I tried making one for Juliet's first birthday and it was an epic failure. Maybe for her 2nd birthday in June I can use one!

  7. I think I would go with a birth announcement/birth stat one. Of course, if I won one, I would probably have to purchase three more, lol...

  10. We have a blank chalkboard in the kitchen which came with the house. I have had many delusions that I would write/draw cool and motivating stuff on it. It is a blank black rectangle which occasionally gets random scribbles on it. Sigh. So I need somebody to do the work for me :)
