Hug battles.

Congratulations to Rachelle for winning the MilestoneMemory giveaway!  If you didn't win and still want a beautiful chalkboard, you should head over to the Etsy shop and get one!

Also, thank you to everyone who commented on yesterday's post and made me feel better about having been a weirdo as a child.

Also also, my husband thinks I left out part of the breakfast for dinner story.  What I didn't mention is that, when I was dividing my eggjerky up among the pioneer family, I played all the parts in my head.  So I was grandma and Pa and the children.

That's not weird, right?  Danny thinks it's weird.  Maybe he's the weird one.

Um.  This is turning out to be a very random post, so we'll just leave it that way.  Who needs organization and coherent thoughts?  NOT ME!

Oooh!  This is fun news!  I had 20,000 views on my blog as of this morning!

I feel very loved.

My child is refusing to nap right now, and he really really needs to just GO TO SLEEP.

...I was hoping he would hear that if I wrote it in all caps.  I'm probably wrong.

I'm getting nervous/excited about his party this weekend!  There will be a lot of people at our house.  Hopefully no one forgets to shower that morning!  I probably won't shower.  Just to shake things up a bit.

Also, I cry every time I look at Gibson and think about that fact that he's going to be a year old on Sunday.  I'm a mess.  Just ask my husband.

For real, Gibson is sitting by his door with a blanket on his head.  Just sitting there.  Like a ghost.  Creepy child.

Next Tuesday there will be another fun giveaway!  Yay!  I'm very very excited about it.

I keep forgetting that my birthday is less than a week away.  And so is Danny's.  I should probably start thinking about something fun to give him.

Probably I'll give him a hug.  He would like that, right?

For those of you who don't know my husband, he really likes hugs.  And he thinks they can fix literally every problem.  For those of you who don't know me, sometimes I don't like to be touched when I'm sad.

So.  Sometimes we have a battle over whether to hug.  Danny usually wins because of his biceps.  And also he's cute, so I give in and hug him.

Gibson has been super kissy lately, and it's my FAVORITE.  He loves to lean in with his little lips puckered up and then open his mouth right as he reaches my lips.  Yum.  So many slobbers on my face.

Don't worry, Gibson is asleep!  Yayyyyy!

And also, this blog post is almost done!  I can't think of anymore random things to tell you all.

Except that Gibson just started crying, so obviously he wasn't asleep.  SAD FACES.

To cheer myself up, here's another new photo of my boy!

He's such a skeptical child.
