...also...

It's pretty obvious that I need to do a random post at least once a week.  I would choose a day to do it, like "Mish Mash Mondays" or something, but I don't know how well I would do with having so much structure.

...we'll see.  I'll let you all know.

In any case, get ready for a random post!

Gibson has given up on his walking strike!  He still isn't walking very much, but at least he's trying!  For awhile he gave up on walking completely.

I was a little worried that I would be carrying him in the Ergo until he was in second grade, so this is a welcome change.

Speaking of the Ergo, I wore Gibson in it at daddy's band concert last night, and it was very sweaty.  Because I wore him for like two hours and just stood up, hoping he would fall asleep.

He didn't.  But he did poke my mouth a lot.  At least he was happy!

Gibson's vendetta against food is still going strong.  The list of food he willingly puts in his mouth includes: bananas (duh), grapes, peanut butter bread, oatmeal, pancakes, and crackers.  And no vegetables or meat.

...unless we're at a restaurant, in which case he'll gobble up all the beef and salmon in the world.  But if you try to get him to eat the leftovers at home they're the WORST!!

It's not frustrating AT ALL!  /sarcasm

So now Gibson eats at least one or two smoothies a day, because that's the only way he'll eat vegetables and protein.  The key to making a smoothie Gibson will love is LOTS OF BANANA.  So I use half a banana, a couple strawberries, coconut and almond milks, frozen edamame, frozen carrots, and fresh spinach.  He loves it!

Gibson didn't poop yesterday, which is weird.  Because he's been having one huge explosive nasty poop every day for a few days.

...not that I'm complaining, because these recent poops have been AWFUL.

I'm just afraid for today's poop.  That's all.

I bought some sheets at a thrift store recently for $5 (they're REALLY nice sheets), and it turns out they were mislabeled.  They're king size, not queen.  But that didn't stop me!  With some nice tucking, they look...alright.  Not amazing.  But they're super soft!

Don't worry, I washed them before we used them.  I think.

It's cold here.  And I want it to be warm.  IT'S MAY, FOR GOODNESS' SAKE.

This morning I brought Gibson his milk before breakfast, and he threw it and yelled, "NANANA!"

...at least he knows what he wants, I guess.  We'll have to work on the throwing and yelling.

I just burped and it tasted like boiled egg.  ...can you guess what I ate for breakfast?

Gibson loves every single Pentatonix video ever made.  If you don't know who I'm talking about, go watch this video, okay?  And then watch all the rest.  They're incredible.

Have you all noticed that I use ellipses (...) a lot?  And the word "also?"  Because I do.  I hope that's okay.

If it's not, I'm sorry.  I probably won't change.

...and I think that's enough random for today.

  1. Love the randomness! I would say on the poo side he may just be empty and need to fill up again. Good luck with it all and enjoy the day.
